When the summer has gone, and the number of travellers has decreased, foreign students come to Riga to start or continue their studies at the higher education institutions situated in the capital of Latvia, and the issue of accommodation becomes topical for them. More often student chose the university dormitories, apartments and hostels as the place for their temporary home.

Riga Style Hostel receives innumerable phone calls and e-mails from the foreign students asking about the possibilities of long-term accommodation, and already for the second year we offer not only a room, but also staying at the very centre of Riga in the comfortable, even family atmosphere. The most demanded, of course, are the private rooms, envisaged for one or two persons; however, the young people do not refuse also from the rooms envisaged for more than two persons, where they can be together with their friends. The emphasis regarding the staying at Riga Style Hostel is put on the fact that, in comparison to the apartments, the student does not need to pay separately for the public services and other communications. Everything is provided at the hostel, including WiFi connection. The student has an opportunity to watch TV in the lounge, to use CD with the music record he/she enjoys, to prepare a meal at the kitchen etc. The hostel provides washing of clothes and printing out of documents for the affordable charge.

There are always staff members at the hostel, ready not only to take care for the cleanliness in the rooms and common facilities, but is also helpful and accommodating towards the guests. When the foreign students arrive, friendly and common atmosphere develops. This atmosphere is facilitated by the events that take place at the premises of Riga Style Hostel and by the excursions on a bus.

Jyri Zheng stays at the hostel already for the second academic year, and he tells about that the following: "I find living in RSH really comfortable and the location is really good. Near to everything local bus station and old town of Riga, but at the same time the location is quite and pretty safe. Over all the best thing is here absolutely staff! Workers here are not only beautiful and kind but also really helpful and they really take you in the family from the first step. Also RSH is not like any other ordinary hostel, it is cosy and warm place."

Mustafa Mossa has also returned to Riga Style Hostel for the second time: "I am an international student studying who seeks an environment to live and study well during my time here. RTH is very much up to those standards. I like that it’s all very home-like and that it doesn't feel like I’m in a hostel as it has all that i would need in a regular home such as a comfortable bedroom, clean kitchen, washing machine internet etc. Also it’s very stylish with its designs relating to different metropolitan cities. Furthermore the staff is very welcoming and friendly."
